Harpers is a division of The Proton Group which has been supporting the laundry industry since 1971. As a pro-active team in product development we have launched a unique selection of products under the Harpers brand to distinguish these from our other products. Aimed at the active, we have looked at what is needed in the dedicated marketplace for these type of products. Who are we? Here are just some of our team members, who inspired Harpers!
Our Managing director and Molly, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, love going out for their daily walks, Molly especially enjoys rolling around and playing in the mud. Harper’s Pet Care is essential to keep Molly comfortable and clean. Aside from looking after Molly our MD also enjoys weekends out at sea sailing to his next port of call.
Our Sales Director lives life to the full and has no Fear! With annual snowboarding trips, weekly ice-skating lessons, climbing, wakeboarding, SUPs and trekking mountains, she is great for testing all our products and is excited for the launch and development of Harpers.
Our Assistant Production Manager is an animal lover who spent many years riding and caring for horses, Harpers Rug Wash and Proof has been a great addition to her. She’s also an active cyclist who thrives off great views and a sense of achievement after completing a long ride.
Our Sales and Marketing Executive is a keen gym goer, keeping active when she is not at her desk is a high priority. Since COVID 19 closed the doors to gyms, with the help of Harpers keeping her and her best gear protected, she’s found a new love in walking to get her out and about on weekends and keeping fit.
Our Sales Adviser has an active family who spend quality time together in outdoor environments doing walking, camping, cycling and even surfing! Replacing camping and walking gear for them all comes at a cost so keeping it clean and protected with Harpers has been a real benefit.
Richard is an all-weather fisherman. Any breaks from work he can be found on the side of a lake, waiting for his next catch. Harpers has proven to be a good addition to his outdoor clothing by ensuring he remains dry.
